CIBIL, or Credit Information Bureau (India) Limited, is a credit information company in India that maintains credit information of individuals and businesses. It collects and maintains information related to credit history, including credit cards, loans, and other credit facilities. CIBIL reconciliation refers to the process of ensuring that the information in your credit report maintained by CIBIL is accurate and up to date. This is important because your credit report plays a crucial role in determining your creditworthiness and can affect your ability to get credit in the future.

Age Criteria

You should be aged between 21 years and 80 years* You need to be a resident of India. You should be working for an MNC, private or a public limited company. You should have a minimum CIBIL score of 685. Cibil Eligibility For Loan: CIBIL is a credit bureau that collects and maintains records of payments for loans and credit cards. A CIBIL score ranges from 300 to 900. A score of 750 or higher is considered ideal by most lenders.

The minimum CIBIL score is between 720 and 750. A score of 750 or higher indicates that you are creditworthy and can pay off your loan obligations. However, a score of 685 or higher can also get you a personal loan.

Home Loan

The minimum CIBIL score is usually 650. A score of 700 or higher is considered good enough for most lenders. However, the minimum acceptable score varies by lender.

Educational Loan for Student CIBIL score

A student’s CIBIL score for an education loan may be important, but if they do not have one, the lender will base their loan terms on the CIBIL scores of their co-borrowers.

CIBIL score gets recalculated

Every 30-45 days, credit institutions provide data to CIBIL, and if you check your CIBIL credit score and report within 45 days of closing or paying off your accounts, CIBIL records might not be updated
